1.1 背景介绍
1⃣️ jellyfish
水母，属于无脊椎动物，也是一种古老的生物，历史可追溯到六亿五千万年前。
所有的水母都是肉食性动物，它们以鱼类和浮游生物为食。当猎食的时候﹐水母很被动﹐只捕食游到它们身边的动物。它们用触手上的刺丝囊来螫伤或是杀死猎物，然后把食物送到嘴和消化腔里。
大部分水母几乎是透明的﹐令敌人难于发现。有些水母能够发光，单凭身上发出的幽光，水母不费吹灰之力就能吸引猎物。

1.2熟词生义
1⃣️「go」在文中作系动词，表示变化，意思是“变得……”。

1.3句子解析
1⃣️ Rushing through the jellyfish, he protected Dory with his body. As he went, he was stung again and again. With each new sting, he slowed down. He grew weaker.
🎉「 Rushing through」意思是“从……冲出去”，这里是说Marlin一边用身体保护Dory，一边从水母群中冲出重围；「again and again」，指“不停地，一再地”；
🎉「With each new sting」，sting在这里作名词，所以这里是说Marlin每被蛰一次；「slow down」，指“速度慢下来”；「grew weaker」，指“变得更加虚弱”。

2⃣️ As Nemo swam past, Gill noticed Nemo was looking at his hurt fin. “My first escape,” said Gill, “landed on dental tools. I was trying to reach the toilet.” “The toilet?” Nemo asked. “All drains lead to the ocean, kid,” Gill replied.
🎉「landed on dental tools」，land指“着陆，落于……上”，这里是说Gill第一次逃跑的时候，落在牙医的工具上了，所以鱼鳍受伤了；
🎉「All drains lead to the ocean」，lead to表示“通往”，drain指的“下水道”，所以这里是说“所有的下水道都通向大海”，跟all roads lead to Rome（“条条大路通罗马”）的句型异曲同工嘛~
🎉全句大意：当Nemo游过的时候，Gill注意到他在看自己受过伤的鱼鳍。Gill告诉Nemo：“我第一次逃跑的时候，落在了牙医的工具上。我本来想到马桶那边去。”Nemo很惊讶为什么是马桶，Gill告诉他因为“条条下水道都通向大海”。
3⃣️ It was finally time for the next step in the plan: blocking the filter so that the tank would get dirty.
🎉「It was finally time for…」意思是“终于到了…的一刻”，举个例子，It is finally time for announcing the results.（终于到了宣布结果的那一刻。）
🎉「blocking…would get dirty」在这里补充说明next in the plan，表示“堵塞住滤水口以致水箱受污染”；其中「so that」 意思是“结果是、以致于…”，举个例子哈：Everyone lent a hand so that the work was finished ahead of schedule.（每一个人都帮了忙，所以工作提前完成了。）
🎉全句的意思是：终于到了计划下一个步骤：堵住滤水口，这样结果是鱼缸就会被污染。
4⃣️ “Now, once you get in, you swim down to the bottom of the filter, and I’ll talk you through the rest,” Gill said to Nemo. It was up to the little fish to stop the machine.
🎉 「once」，表示“一旦，当……”，「talk you through the rest」，指Gill会跟Nemo说怎么做余下的事情；
🎉「was up to the little fish to stop the machine」，be up to意思是“取决于”，这里是说“全靠Nemo这条小鱼去让机器停下来”。
🎉全句大意：Gill跟Nemo说“一旦你进去了，你就往过滤器的底部游下去，然后我会告诉你接下来该怎么做”。他们全指望这条小鱼去让机器停下来了。
5⃣️ But he was still about to fall into the fan! Gill and the others held on to the plastic plant and pulled—hard. Nemo was suddenly free. He was outside the filter—safe, but shaken up pretty badly.
🎉「 was still about to」，“仍然在……，还是即将……”，这里指Nemo还是在被扇叶的力量往那边拉；
🎉「pulled—hard」，hard在这里指“用力地”，所以这里是说其它鱼儿们也在用力地拉那根塑料植物；
🎉「shaken up pretty badly」，shake up指“颤抖”，这里是说Nemo抖得非常厉害。
🎉全句大意：但是Nemo还在往风扇那边掉。Gill和其他人抓住那根塑料植物，拼命地拉。突然间Nemo得救了，他从过滤器里平安出来了，但是却抖得非常厉害。
6⃣️ “Gill, don’t make him go back in there,” Peach said. “No. We’re done,” Gill said, unable to look any of the other fish in the eye.
🎉 「don’t make him go back in there」，make在这里作使动，意思是“让……做……”，这里是Peach为Nemo求情，说不要再让他进去了；
🎉「No. We’re done」，No在这里并不是在否定Peach说的话，而是表示“不会了”，done在这里表示“结束”，Gill说这话既表示这次行动的结束，也表示他对逃跑这件事永远失去了信心；
🎉「 unable to look…in the eye」，unable是able的反义词，表示“不能……”，这里是说Gill没办法跟其它鱼儿们对视。
🎉全句大意：Peach说“不要再让他进去了吧”，Gill说“不会了，一切都结束了”，说这话的时候，他没办法直视其他鱼儿的眼睛。
7⃣️ He had been sleeping—getting better after being stung by so many jellyfish. He closed his eyes again, trying to think clearly.
🎉「after being stung by so many jellyfish」，after being stung这个部分大家可能觉得比较奇怪，这是因为after后面直接跟动词的时候，需要接doing，而且因为Marlin是“被蛰”，所以sting必须要用被动的形式be stung，结合在一起就变成after being stung了。
🎉全句大意：他一直在昏睡，在被这么多水母蛰了以后稍微好点儿了。他又闭上眼，试图想想清楚这件事。
8⃣️ “We saw the whole thing. Takin’ on the jellyfish! You got some serious thrill issues, dude. Awesome.”
🎉「issue」在文中意思是“问题”，issue常用来指心理上或者生理上的一些紊乱，比如如果一个人长期迷恋毒品，就可以说这个人有drug issues，如果一个人的家庭环境给他的心理和生理上造成了不好的影响，也可以说他有family issues，所以这里的serious thrill issues可以理解为“很严重的兴奋问题，有很严重的找刺激的倾向”，其实这是海龟在开玩笑，意思类似于“兄弟，你很喜欢刺激哦！”。
🎉全句大意：“我们全都看见了，你居然挑战水母！看来你很喜欢找刺激哦兄弟！太棒了吧！”
