1⃣️.BNL OUTLET COMING SOON!
✨这是WALL•E在路过月球的时候看到的BnL公司的广告牌。是不是很像我们平时在告诉公路上看到的广告牌呢？在WALL•E的时候地球已经被废弃，人们实现了太空旅行，所以月球也就成了一个伫立广告牌的地方啦~
✨那么什么是OUTLET呢？
💫OUTLET起源于美国，已有上百年历史，是欧美发展最为强劲的零售模式，并逐渐风靡盛行欧美、东南亚等诸家。最初OUTLET为工厂直销店，后慢慢形成类似Shopping mall的OUTLET购物中心，这些购物中大多吸引了众多的知名商家入驻，成为著名的购物中心。世界上有许多著名的OUTLET购物中心，比如美国纽约Woodbury Outlet，西雅图PremiumOutlets，法国巴黎La Vallee，英国伦敦Bicester，意大利米兰Fidenza等等
2⃣️.planet Saturn
✨planet Saturn就是我们美丽的土星啦。土星的名称来自於罗马神话中的农业之神萨图尔努斯（拉丁文：Saturnus）。作为八大行星，和其他行星比较最大的特点就是它有美丽的土星环，还有众多围绕它的卫星，到2012年为止，已经发现了62土星的卫星。
✨土星在太阳系中距离太阳比较远，以太阳为中心，火星在八大行星中排在第六位，所以今天小WALL•E跟着飞船飞得真远呢~我们来看看其他几个行星用英语怎么说~
3⃣️.「hold」在文中是名词，表示“船舱”。（它常用作动词，表示“保持”。）
✨原句：A huge robotic arm reached out and lifted EVE into the ship’s hold. ✨例句：A fire had been reported in the cargo（货物）hold.
4⃣️.「point」在文中做动词，表示“指向”。（它还常表示“要点”，做名词。

1⃣️.He was no longer interested in discovering exciting objects in the rubbish. WALL•E realized he’d found the one thing in the entire world that made his life worth living.
✨「was no longer interested in」be interested in sth.是一个固定短语，表示“对…感兴趣”。举个栗子：You might also be interested in her new book.（你可能会对她的新书也感兴趣。）no longer表示“不再”，比如“我不再害怕了。”可以说“I am no longer afraid.”所以这一部分在这里就是“对…不再感兴趣”啦~
✨「in the entire world」这里说明前面“found”的范围，说明是“在全世界”的范围内找到的特定的“one thing”。联系上下文，对于WALL•E来说，这个“one thing”当然就是EVE啦~
✨联系上文，EVE进入了休眠状态，WALL•E想尽办法都不能唤醒她，WALL•E之后去工作。但是他心不在焉。他对从垃圾里面发掘让人兴奋的东西也不再感兴趣了。他意识到他发现了世界上让他生命有意义的东西。
✨「that made his life worth living」这一部分修饰的是前面的one thing，说明是这个东西让他的生命有意义。这里的意思是指EVE让WALL•E的生命有了意义。
✨make one’s life worth living=“让某人的生命有意义”，这一句非常好用哦，加一个“you”就可以用来表白了哦~“You make my life worth living.”（你让我的生命有意义。）
2⃣️.As he reached the highway near his home, WALL•E suddenly stopped short. In the distance, the space ship was floating directly over his truck.
✨「As …his home」这里As表示“当…时”， near his home修饰前面的highway，说明这个高速公路的位置“靠近他家”。这一部分说明WALL•E突然停下来（stopped short）的时候：当他快要到达他家附近的高速公路时。
✨联系上下文，WALL•E看到一艘飞船，意识到这艘飞船可能会带走EVE，他赶快往他的家赶。当他到达他家旁边的高速公路时，他突然停了下来。在远处，那艘飞船正悬浮在他的卡车上(over his truck)。
3⃣️.“Eee-vah! Eee-vah!” WALL•E shouted as he hurried toward her. The doors to the ship’s storage area closed as the ship’s engines powered up.
✨「as he hurried toward her」这里的as和上一个as的用法相同，也是表示“当…时”，在这里表示的是WALL•E 一边大声叫着EVE的名字一边匆匆奔向她。
✨「to the ship’s storage area」这一部分修饰前面的doors，说明是通向哪里的门，这里是说这些门是通向飞船的储存区域的门。
✨「as the ship’s engines powered up」又见as啦~这里还是表示“当…时”，这里表示和前面的门closed的时候一起发生的事情，在文中是说当门关上的时候飞船的引擎也启动（powered up）了。
✨“Eee-vah! Eee-vah!”WALL•E一边大声叫着EVE的名字一边匆匆地跑向她。当飞船储存区的门关闭的时候飞船的引擎也启动了。
4⃣️.Inside the ship, robotic arms locked EVE down in an empty space among a long row of inactive robots that looked just like EVE.
✨「Inside the ship」这里在说明后面事情发生的场所，这些事情都发生在飞船内部。
✨「among a long row of inactive robots」这里是描述把EVE放置的位置，这一部分修饰的是前面的space，表示把EVE放置在一长排（ a long row of）休眠的机器人之间的空闲位置上。
✨「that looked just like EVE」这一部分修饰前面的“inactive robots”，说明这些休眠的机器人的状态，也就是说这些休眠的机器人就像EVE一样（也是处于休眠状态）。
✨联系上文，EVE被飞船上伸出的机器手臂送上了飞船。在飞船里面，机器手臂将EVE锁在一长排和EVE一样休眠的机器人之间的空位置上。
5⃣️.He used his small hands to hold onto a metal support rail and closed his eyes as the ship sped through space. On the ground, WALL•E’s cockroach dutifully stayed put as he watched his owner disappear into the clouds.
✨「used…and closed」这个句子比较长，但是找到句子的关键词语“and”就会更好的理解这个句子哦~and一般连接并列的两个部分，这里就是连接used 和closed两个部分，表示这两个动作都是最前面的“He”，也就是我们的WALL•E啦。
✨「as the ship sped through space」这里也是as表示“当…时”的用法，在这里修饰的是前面的closed his eyes，意思是当飞船加速穿过太空的时候WALL•E闭上了眼。
✨「stayed put」是一个固定词组，是stay+形容词的用法，表示保持某种状态。这里put是形容词，表示“固定不动的”，所以stay put表示“留在原处不动”了。举个例子：The policeman ordered him to stay put.（警察命令他别动。）另外，分享一句话乔布斯的名言给大家：“Stay hungry, stay foolish. ”（求知若渴，大智若愚。）

✨联系上下文，WALL•E用他的销售紧紧地抓住飞船金属横梁，在飞船穿越到太空的时候闭上了眼睛，在地面上，WALL•E的小蟑螂负责的留在原地注视着它的主人消失在云层中。

✨飞船离开地球的时候，因为受到重力的影响，所以需要很大的推力才能够离开地球，一旦离开地球进入到太空，由于几乎不受重力的影响，飞船只需要很小的推力就能够前进，所以这里飞船的引擎慢了下来。因为重力小了，所以WALL•E也感觉不到重量啦~下面是国际空间站失重的柠檬，看起来是不是很炫酷呢？
6⃣️.He held on to the support rail more firmly than before as the ship sped through the sky and entered space. The engines slowed down, and WALL•E, now weightless, took in the beauty of all the stars shining in clear space.
✨「held on to」hold on to是一个固定词组，表示“紧紧抓住，紧握”。这里表示WALL•E紧紧地抓着飞船上的支撑横梁。
✨「as the…entered space」这一部分仍然是as表示“当…时”的用法。这里and连接的两个并列的动作是“sped through”和“entered ”，表示当飞船穿越天空并进入到太空的时候。

1⃣️ “if any”结构：
🌟if any 和if ever，意思是“果真有…”，“即使有…”，表达加强语气。与此类似的还有：“if anything”（如有不同的话，如果稍有区别），“if a day”（＝at least，至少）。 ✨－There is little，if any，hope.
2⃣️ “every…not”和“all…not”结构：
🌟every…not表示“不见得每个…都是…”；all…not 表示“不见得所有…都是…”. ✨－Every man is not polite, and all are not born gentlemen.
3⃣️“As it were”短语：
🌟as it were是一个非常常用的插入语，意思是“好像”，“可以说”等。

4⃣️ “if at all”结构：
🌟if at all是一个由“if”引起的主谓结构不完整的短句，译为“即将…”,“即使”等。 ✨－I can see only with great difficulty, if at all.（即便我能看见，也是在极其困难的情况下）
5⃣️ “it follows that…”结构：
🌟it follows that…＝it happens as a result…，常常被译为“由此可见”，“因此”，“可以推断”等。 ✨－It follows that the housewife will also expect to be able to have more leisure in her life without lowering her standard of living. It also follows that human domestic servant will have completely ceased to exist.
